Like a fine wine, life must be full, rich, and balanced. Our responsibilities need to be maintained, and goals need to be chased relentlessly. Life reminds us that this is not a sprint, but a marathon. The way we run the marathon is the way we appear to live. The journey of life divides us, some survive, some thrive and some get left behind. Different interests develop us, make us unique, and present us with different opportunities. Life's journey will take us in many paths and various events, memories, friends, and family accent our days, weeks, months, and years. This section is dedicated to life's delicate balance.

My Friends
What a patient group this is, as I disappear for weeks and months at a time, resurfacing to collect a few magical moments with them and then back to the depths of my tangled life. They are the support that makes this unpolished stone appear like a diamond, and remind me that I am not a machine and need to get out a little more often.

My Music
My daily sound track is very critical to my health. The wrong set of songs in
my head can lead me astray... changing my lighthearted comedy
into a thriller, or even more punishing as it ends up in a modern
tragedy. Good music, like wine, needs to be fresh and inspired...
and marry well with my current events.
I have no favorite band any longer, as my thirst for new music far surpasses my desire to replay the same set of songs over and over again.
1/2005 – New stuff to my ears...
Wilco – A ghost is born – my
pick for album of the year 2004

Paul Weller – one of the most underrated
artists of our time, he’ll tell you that.

A Few of My Favorite Things - 2005
A handblown stem touched by 1990 Rayas, 82 Cheval, 85 Sassicaia
or 95 Comtes
A written letter from an old girlfriend
Great Music under the stars on PCH
A song that makes you pound the steering wheel
Having an idea go from concept to form in a day
Scrapping together a last minute idea that is legendary
Getting lost and finding a short cut
Designer clothes that make me look thin and classy
Seeing my son grow and mature
Watching my Mom enjoy retirement
Feeling America stick together
Chicken tacos, deep fried with Guac
Photos of the good hair days
Praying to God when I feel like it
A new shirt and tie
A shoe shine
A great cup of morning coffee
A sun set that leads me home to the beach
Getting the deal, and getting paid
Having time to plan nothing at all
Talkin’ trash with the Brothers
