After graduating from Collin School of Hospitality Management at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with his Bachelors in Hospitality Management, Ian went on to study Culinary Arts at Hyde Park Culinary Institute of America.
A former restaurateur, wine buyer and service industry analyst with Preferred Hotels International, Ian has found his passion in the wine industry.
The Society of Wine Educators lists Ian as one of the highly qualified Wine Educators in the USA and continues his studies and work in the Wine Societies, and Wine Bars of Southern California.
Currently, Ian stays busy as an Author, Radio Host, International Wine Representative and Editor of wine education web site, LearnAboutWine.com.
Ian hosts local and regional wine events with a straightforward, unpretentious love of wine and enthusiasm that can be felt throughout the audience.

Heading west to avoid the rat race after graduating from James Madison University, Jennifer began her career in the hospitality industry in Vail, Colorado. Enjoying the Rockies by day and managing some of Vail’s best restaurants by night, she quickly discovered a passion for wine. After 5 years of travel and play, Jennifer moved to L.A., where she continued her career at such properties as the Peninsula Beverly Hills, Raffles L’Ermitage Beverly Hills and the Avalon Beverly Hills. She recently quit her “day job” to direct the rapidly growing success of LearnAboutWine as “the Ultimate Resource for a Unique and Unforgettable Gathering.”
